Day-one markets often advertise novel escrow, invite-only vendors, and revolutionary OPSEC. Historically, many are honeypots, short-lived experiments, or exit-scam setups harvesting deposits.

Vetting Rubric

  • Named operators with verifiable PGP history?
  • Realistic bonds and withdrawal proofs?
  • Code / infra claims that are falsifiable?
  • Independent mirrors discussed on long-running forums?

If the only promotion is paid shout-outs, walk away.
